I Spent 8+ Years As A Personal Trainer Hating The Ego-Driven Gym Culture…
Every day I saw busy professionals like you struggle to make sessions, feel intimidated by the environment and regard the gym as ‘a chore’ not enjoyment.
Because of this, their results were limited. But they believed there was no other way.

I grew to hate the gym culture
I wanted a better approach. For my clients, and myself. So in 2016 I left the gym world for good and grabbed a TRX suspension trainer to use from home instead.
I quickly realised there was NO ONE Teaching People How to use it effectively to Build lean Muscle. Sure there were Apps & YouTube videos. But they focused on ‘movement-centric technique’. Which is only good for working up a sweat.

Movement-centric TRX training technique does not build lean muscle
People believe building lean muscle can only be achieved in a gym. So I began a journey to prove that belief wrong. I studied, documented, and tested more than I ever had. To develop what I now call the ‘Muscle-Centric’ Suspension Trainer Technique.
That’s When EVERYTHING Changed!.
Here’s my own transformation journey from leaving the gym world in 2016 using only a suspension trainer with that technique and simple nutrition optimisation frameworks…

I applied it to bands and body weight training too. Being able to do this from home, or anywhere felt ‘freeing.’ Like… Fitness Freedom.
So I setup Fitness Freedom Athletes and dedicated my life to teaching people like you how to transform your body using these simple tools and nutrition frameworks.

The TRX Total Body Enhance Program is exactly that. I’ve been on the program for just 6 weeks now and it is working perfectly for me: I feel stronger, more resilient and able to dig much, much deeper when I train.
The program IS a challenge and takes genuine commitment but the rewards for me have been great. I had been an occasional TRX user for years but all of my training had gone completely stale and I had lost a lot of motivation.

With a lot of junk workout programs online, I am always very hesitant to buy someone’s workout programs. I am glad I took a chance on Adam’s workouts. It is obvious he put a lot of time into creating balanced programs that ramp up gradually as you get stronger. When I have questions about how to perform an exercise, I can click on the exercise which takes me to Adam’s YouTube where he explains in detail how to do the exercises and what to focus on for that mind body connection.
I do wish there was a little illustration next to the exercises on the plan but once you get used to doing the program after a few weeks, the exercises become second nature.

Awesome Program! I have the official TRX app and it doesn’t come close to these workouts. I like how they are stacked and combined to really challenge the body. The explanations with the video links are great. I would find it a tad bit easier if the links were embedded within the actual program day rather than having to scroll to the bottom but it isn’t worth taking away a star on this program. It is also very helpful to understand the muscles being worked and the different aspects of it. I rate this higher than the video TRX puts out with no explanations or concepts defined. I am seeing wonderful results so far with this program.

I’m halfway through the programme and can’t speak highly enough of it. I’ve used the “official” TRX videos and app, but they didn’t get close to the intensity or gains TRX Traveller gave me. The workouts are challenging but add in the support offered by Adam, and you absolutely can’t go wrong

Great program! Coach Adam provides clear, concise instructions to help anyone get the most out of the plan. He does a great job of describing the science and mental components that make it effective, and demonstrates the technique in easy to follow videos which really helps me. It is very well put together, logically organized and effective. In trying to come up with work-out routines/regimens on my own (especially travel-friendly) I’ve looked at countless apps/sites on the subject and never felt I had a program or progression that worked (or that I could advance with) and it left me a bit overwhelmed. This program (and the other FF programs) solves all of that for me and I couldn’t be happier.

At age seventy-two, I don’t use this program to its maximum capacity, but I find it to be an excellent way to maintain my stability and my core muscular strength. The days of the “beach bod” may be gone, but these exercises have enabled me to maintain my flexibility and engage in my day to day activities without any pain or strain. Highly recommended.

This is the third program of Adam’s that I have done, and currently finishing up Week 4. Love this program; I know it’s intense because I often need to rest two days between workouts to be at my best for the next workout. Really appreciate the definition I am seeing.

I’ve had a trx sitting around my home for about a year but honestly didn’t know what do do with it. Yeah the trx came with a poster for some exercises and you can find various moves on the internet. But it still left me unmotivated and fully unconvinced.
I found Adam on YouTube, started watching and learning from him and was thinking, this person sounds legit… I’ll go for it. Turns out… LEGIT! The plan is easily accessible and laid out. All you have to do it put in the work. And the thing about it is, when you apply Adam’s technique, not just the moves, but the mind-muscle connection too!
On a level of vanity I’m loving the way my body is shaping out. On a deeper level, I’m loving the meditation, mind-body connection and look forward to working out every time. EVEN ON LEG DAY! That should say enough right there!!!

I started a fitness journey about 5 months ago, after gaining a bunch of weight after my wife had our first child. I’m not the most motivated exerciser, so I was looking for something that just told me what to do, and I’d do it. I also hadn’t done really any weight training for the prior 12 months

Really great program with accompanying docs which explain everything perfectly. Adams enthusiasm shines through in everything he teaches.
I personally stretched out the first 4 weeks a little to get the movements properly nailed and the mind/muscle connection Adam is very vocal about ingrained. You may think this is BS but 2 moves like a low row and hammer curl are ultimately the same, without thinking & focusing on the muscles you need to target you’ll just bang out reps without making as good a connection with the correct muscle. This is really empowering.My only criticism is the lack of direct core work. While every TRX movement requires core stability (and if you’re not bracing your core… brace it!) I would have liked to have seen 2 of the days each week with a direct core movement. I’ve added my own weighted planks or similar to another day or off day.

I have been working out for 20 years and probably have done every type of training there is.
After getting bored with commercial gyms and injuries I decided to switch to a bodyweight/ TRX approach.
After limited muscle gains I was considering going back to the gym but I thought I would give the muscle builder programme a try.
I’m glad I did as even as someone experienced with with training I found it a good challenge and have been getting good muscle gains.
The programme is well thought out and easy to follow and with Adams videos have been a game changer for me. He tells you exactly how to get the best out of each excerise in ways no other PT or you tuber has.
I found the nutrition guide quite helpful too which has helped me gain some muscle.
I’m excited to purchase the resistance band book as im really confident in Adams capabilities to get me in even better shape. -
Started this program after completing the beginner total body workout and for me it was a perfect next step in my TRX journey.
As always Adam has perfectly balanced the program so that the intensity gradually increases as the weeks and your strength progresses, keeping each workout as challenging and effective as possible.
If you ask me it doesn’t matter which program you choose because they are all fantastic, choosing program just comes down to your level of fitness and what you want to achieve. Very well put together programs with Adam’s characteristic enthusiastic, supportive and succinct style with his links to YouTube. A few typos here and there but nothing major, and Adam is always ready to clarify online. I’ve been doing TRX since 2007 and these guides are generally the clearest and most helpful, highly recommended.

After doing the beach body program a few times it was time to upgrade.
The push/legs/pull program gives result fast. I choose to do 3 workouts a week and a cardio/bike session.
The more I train with the trx and Adams programs the more hooked I get. My body feels good and there is no injuries.

I kicked the gym habit about seven years ago and have been doing TRX ever since. I felt I needed a change and went looking for a TRX training program that could be done at home.
Based on stellar reviews, I decided to try the Advanced Ultimate Physique Sculptor program. I’m very impressed with it and found that I got results within just a few weeks. I have had many personal trainers over the years, and Adam’s training methods are top notch.

This program I will use for the rest of my life. As a D1 athlete and all the different types of training I have done, this is one of the few programs I will be able to continually use forever.

I am almost at the end of the program and have seen the best progress since I started training with TRX ( I have previously completed the beginner total body workout and the muscle builder program). The program is quite challenging and I definitely wouldn’t be strong enough to manage if I did not work through the two other programs first. Apart from massive definition and muscle growth I have also noticed that this program has greatly raised the limit of how hard I can push myself.
TRX training is more fun than ever and I look forward to starting another of Adam’s programs!

Superb program! I wish I had come across this years ago, I have only just started this program but am already feeling and seeing results. The workouts are hard, but give you a great bang for buck experience. I can fit this in around my busy schedule, and with the TRX I can carry that one when I am travelling or away from home with work. I have already bought the Full Body Intensity program to cycle with this once I have completed both programs.

This program is exactly what I’ve been looking for. Trying to find a solid exercise program that I can fit into my busy schedule has always been a challenge for me. How do I cancel my membership subscription?
Just click the “Stop Subscription” on your Membership Page in your account area and it’ll automatically stop payments. We don’t make you jump through any weird hoops to cancel or hold you hostage. You may want to join to get in shape for the summer or for a special occasion, achieve your goal, then leave. Then you may want to re-join again in a few months to lose some holiday weight. The door is always open and you’re welcome ti come and go as you need.

What is the format of this (workouts, nutrition etc)?
All the Programs are on the digital Fitness Freedom Athletes Platform. The Programs are accessible across any device on the Platform.
All the teaching for exercise technique, nutrition, mindset, execution & performance is video-based. With correlating study notes and downloadable resources.
The workout plans are structured into a table format with exercise, reps, sets, tempo, rest, and technique tips. If you don’t know how to do an exercise, you can watch the video for each exercise on that workout day, directly below the plan.
Are the workouts follow-along classes?
The Workout Programs aren’t ‘follow along class videos’ because they use progressive overload, so every week the workouts get slightly more intense and the exercises change. So you get stronger week to week. Progressive overload like this is needed for successful transformations to occur. There is video teaching for every single exercise and then you follow the structured 8 – 16 week workout plan with those exercises in.

I’ve tried suspension training / resistance band before and it didn't work
It’s not your fault. Most resources focus on movement-centric technique. Which means a shared load with lots of muscles engaged to move from A to B. There’s nothing wrong with that if you only want to work up a sweat and move around. But it can be mindless movement. And it won’t change your body. If you want to TRANSFORM your body using a suspension trainer or resistance band, then you need to do ‘Muscle-Centric’ Technique.
With “Muscle-Centric Technique” you Iisolate the muscle you want to target and don’t allow other muscles to help. By using a slow, controlled technique, and your mind-muscle connection to squeeze the muscle powerfully. Then the majority of your body weight load goes onto that single muscle.
One muscle handling the majority of the load under constant tension. Creates a BIG muscle-building stimulus. Which means you build lean muscle effectively from each workout. The results are outstanding, physically and mentally:
1. You create muscle definition, which means you can actually see your body changing.
2. More quality muscle gained, means you burn more fat at rest.
On top of that, most suspension trainer and TRX training exercise Programs TRY to be one-size-fits-all and fail miserably. Why did I spend years developing and testing 9 different suspension trainer programs… for a variety of levels and goals? Because one size fits all Programs flat out don’t work.
They try to cater for the masses because it’s easier for people do make a quick buck without doing much work. Specific body types and levels have specific needs. With the wrong Workout Program for your body type. You might get small results at the beginning, but will hit a frustrating plateau. Or you’ll feel overwhelmed and like you’re failing because you can’t do it.

I've tried following nutrition advice before and failed
The problem is, today’s diet “advice” is completely useless for all of us who are busy – “Eat healthier. Cut back on your carbs. Do hours of cardio. Eat more protein. Count your calories…” Or they flood you with PDF printouts from online library collections. They sound appealing at first – ‘115 fat loss recipe guide PDFs’ and ‘macro calorie calculator PDF for the perfect body’
This “cookie-cutter” advice and approach has failed you in the past and it will continue to fail you if you keep listening. The truth is, it’s not what you eat, it’s how effectively your body USES what you eat. This all comes down to your insulin sensitivity (aka insulin resistance) which affects how your body uses carbs and fats…
Otherwise known as having good or bad ‘metabolic flexibility.’
Think of your body as an engine—if it’s not running well, it can’t use fuel (food) effectively and doesn’t perform well. Poor insulin sensitivity means the body stores more food as fat. Good sensitivity means it uses food to fuel muscle and functional cells which boosts your metabolic flexibility, so you can burn carbs when you eat them, or fats when you eat them (or when you don’t).
So, rather than gain weight from food, you gain energy and fuel muscle growth. Right now, your body is functioning at half of its potential. Unless you optimise your body first. I am half way through the Total Body Transformation program and must say that it has been great so far. The way Adam teaches has really shown me how to get the most out of my suspension trainer. As someone who always travels for work, I rely on a suspension trainer to keep in shape. This is by far the best and most comprehensive program that I’ve found for this type of training. This is an amazing, inclusive, friendly, yet challenging program. It is definitely perfect for beginners. One might think that it is easy at first. But trust me: learn proper form and watch Adam’s videos on correct form. The mind-body connect is essential to progress. The second block of workouts are great too. Definitely steps up. I highly recommend if you are new to TRX training. I still use the block 2 workouts. But it’s a great program overall.

This is a great TRX program and I’m really happy I bought it. I’m a runner first and foremost and while I find it easy to stay with a cardio program I’ve always struggled with doing functional strength. I bought the TRX last year but never found TRX’s official app helpful and quickly stopped using it. I have always been in decent shape having been in athletics all throughout school and, later, having a fast-paced, physically demanding job. With the past year’s shelter in place and age catching up with me, I found myself the most out of shape and the heaviest I have ever been.
For Christmas, my wife bought me a TRX set and I was so thrilled but, as I started to try and put together a workout regimen of my own, I was so lost. After saving videos to a YouTube playlist, one of Adam’s videos popped up and I watched it. Then watched another one. And another. I have done TRX quite a bit in the past as part of a group class and I always loved it. When I bought my TRX setup to use at home, I was really disappointed in the TRX app and the poster they provide with the kit is very basic and added nothing to what I already knew from the classes I had taken before.
I searched online for content and even though there is a lot out there, it’s all things like “30 minute TRX workout” or “killer abs on TRX” and a lot of “top 50 TRX moves” with short clips of people doing the moves. Adam’s programs were the only ones I found that were comprehensive workouts that built from the foundational moves up over time.
Even though I had done a lot of TRX before, I started with the beginner course because I wanted to learn the proper technique from the start. I am so glad I did. I learned more in week 1 of the beginner course than I had learned in dozens of live classes, all the YouTube videos I watched, and especially the materials that came from TRX. I made great progress through the 8 weeks of the beginner course and will be moving to the intermediate shortly. I can’t see not just doing all of them as I progress.
Adam is a great guy, he’s very passionate about the material he has developed (and rightly so) and he is very quick to answer a chat or email if you have any questions. This is easily the best money I have spent on any fitness program hands down. I look forward to every workout and I have really enjoyed watching my body transform (even through the beginner course).
