4 KEY TECHNIQUE POINTS
1. ON THE WAY UP (CONCENTRIC PHASE) SQUEEZE…
the quads as hard as possible to explode up and continue squeezing at the top for 1 second super hard
BOOTY FOCUS: Squeeze the glute as hard as possible to explode up and continue squeezing at the top for 1 second super hard
2. ON THE WAY DOWN (ECCENTRIC PHASE) CONTRACT…
the hamstrings and glutes hard (as if pinching a large stability ball between the heel and bum) to pull the body right down…
..don’t just fall down, contract those muscles to cause the movement of descending down.
Go deep on the P.SQUATS, really squeeze those hamstrings at the very bottom to lengthen the quad muscles and challenge them through a full ROM.
3. UPPER TORSO POSITIONING QUADS:
Lean forward over the quads throughout
BOOTY: Remain straight and upright throughout
- 4 seconds down
- 0 rest at the bottom
- 1 second up
- 1 second hard as possible squeeze on the quads (or glutes to grow that booty)
