Key Technique Points
1. The Elbows Lead
The hands are just hooks. Your elbows lead.
Drive your elbows back and down alongside your body
Get them right back and feel that squeeze at the top.
Hold it and squeeze extra hard.
2. Don’t Hang or Rest
Don’t go all the way down and just ‘hang’ from the TRX.
You will lose tension on the muscle and thus lose the muscle building growth stimulus.
Maintain a short range of motion to keep tension.
3. Advanced Technique
If you’re doing the advanced version, ensure you stretch the muscle out at the bottom, and don’t hang on the shoulder joint.
Bigger range of motion from a fully stretched position to a fully contracted position.
