The biggest thing I ever realised was: Your bicep muscle does not know the difference between curling a dumbbell or curling a broom stick. All it knows is the contraction of force you can place it under through the range of motion.
I’m now 33 and can honestly say I feel better than when I was in my 20’s trying to live the gym ‘bro’ life.
