I used to believe I HAD TO use a gym to achieve my fitness goals and ultimately, feel myself.

It’s what everyone says right?!

I developed an unhealthy psychological reliance on gyms believing I had to be in one or near one at all times:

“I can’t travel anywhere that doesn’t have a gym”

“I can’t be away from a gym for more than a few days”

Quite confining thoughts, right?

Finally, one day back in London in 2016, after all the frustrations of the gym environment had taken their toll…

I upped and left to backpack South America with nothing but a TRX suspension trainer…

..and a strong will to maintain, if not improve my overall fitness, body composition, and mindset.

But, I didn’t want to ‘just move’ with a TRX.

I wanted to build lean muscle mass and visibly transform my body.

People said it couldn’t be done.

I got laughed at when posting on social media about it.

And many times there were sniggers on Zoom calls when I joined bodybuilding coaching programs…

You can imagine right, here’s little me pondering how to isolate the outer quad of my chicken legs with TRX squats….

..while there were comments about 400Lb deadlifts.

The funny thing is, the moment I was out of the gym environment.

I stopped being a ‘gym bro guy’ who thought he knew it all from searching Google, YouTube, or doing a PT course.

And I became a learner…

I spent years relentlessly failing, studying, and re-applying 10x over. In pursuit of understanding the technique that works.

I stopped listening to ‘cultures IQ’ and began taking what I’d learned from different mentors and coaching programs…

Applying ‘muscle-centric’ technique with a TRX!

I never gave up no matter what anyone said and combined it with mindfulness principles (mind-muscle connection) too… 

It EXPLODED my results. Mentally and physically.

I call it the mindful muscle-centric TRX (or resistance band) technique.

I love watching members of our community use this technique with a TRX or band to totally transform their body – at home or anywhere.

Gaining Fitness Freedom!

It’s a huge driving force for me and I’ll never stop striving to serve people better.
